Susan Mary Strahsmeier, 42, of Gulfport, was detained Tuesday by officers from St. Petersburg Police Department and charged with possession of a weapon on school property and child abuse, according to a charge report published by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. The mom allegedly attacked a child on Monday while getting involved in a dispute her daughters were having at Azalea Middle School, Tampa Bay Times reported. An arrest report said Strahsmeier’s children were in a “physical fight with multiple students” when she “involved herself in the physical fight by striking the victim numerous times in the back of the head from behind while holding a purple taser....

Ana Alicia Nobles, 29, of Pinellas Park, was detained on Monday at roughly 12:20 p.m. by officers from the local police department, according to a sheriff’s office charge report. The incident occurred on August 17, according to local media outlet WFLA. According to an arrest report, Nobles is accused of hitting the child with a leather belt roughly eight times after the young girl declined to pick up the bug....

Wendy Cordaro, 54, made friends with the elderly woman in Margate, Fla. and convinced her to let her become her caretaker for around a year despite having never worked as a caretaker before, according to a complaint affidavit report from the Margate Police Department (MPD) obtained by Newsweek.
